Jennifer
Belle leads three on-going writing workshops in her Greenwich Village
apartment, using her unintimidating approach to the seemingly insurmountable
task of writing a novel. Current writers include: Anna David, author
of Party
Girl, Jenny Pollack, author of Klepto, and M. Colleen Cruz,
author of Border Crossing. Past members have included: Emma
Forrest, author of Cherries in
the Snow, Penny Arcade, world-renown performance artist, Cliff Curtis,
actor, Larin Stover, author of The Bombshell Manual of Style, Jeanine
Cummins, author of A Rip in Heaven, and Carolyn Turgeon, author
of Rain Village.
Worst line ever read in workshop: "He worried
my nub with his tongue."
Worst phrase: "Join the frustration club."
Worst excuse for missing workshop: “My friend was attacked by a
wild cat.”
Worst title for a novel: "Squirrels and Duffel Bags"
Least scary horror story: "Donkey Lady"
